Silverseeker Weimaraners was founded from a deep respect for the breed and a commitment to excellence in both temperament and structure.

 

I’m Steph—owner and registered breeder, mother of two, and lifelong dog enthusiast. With a Bachelor of Animal and Veterinary Biosciences and a Master of Education, my approach to breeding is grounded in both science and care, ensuring each dog is raised with knowledge, intention, and integrity.

 

Together with my husband Justin—who was raised on a working farm and brings a lifetime of experience in hunting and training dogs—we share a passion for producing capable, well-balanced companions. Our dogs are raised between our home in South East Melbourne and our family farm in Archerton, allowing them to develop confidence and adaptability across both family and working environments.

 

Our journey with Weimaraners began following a profound period of loss in 2018, when we said goodbye to two beloved dogs within six months. That experience reshaped our understanding of what truly matters in a canine companion. We sought a breed that could effortlessly bridge the gap between performance and family life—athletic yet gentle, intelligent yet intuitive. The Weimaraner embodied all of this and more.

 

Our foundation dam, Lulu, from the esteemed Ghostwind lines in Perth, represents the standard we uphold at Silverseeker. She combines exceptional conformation with a calm, affectionate nature and strong working instinct—qualities that define our breeding philosophy. She is as devoted in the home as she is capable in the field.

 

As a boutique breeder, Silverseeker Weimaraners is dedicated to producing a limited number of thoughtfully planned litters. While our dogs are bred from quality, proven lines, our priority extends beyond pedigree—we are deeply committed to temperament, soundness, and raising dogs that integrate seamlessly into their families’ lives.
